Mix rainbow patterns with solid colors. Add a little more whimsy to your rainbow with craft gold glitter paint dabbed along the outlines of the rainbow for a sparkle. You could also use the spray can gold glitter.. I used the silver on Natalies underwater walls, sprayed here and there for a soft shine effect. For Melissas fairy forest walls, I used the puff gold glitter paint as the vines. Looks great when the light is on, very sparkly and dreamy. How to paint a rainbow: Drive a nail into the baseboard, tie a string to the nail (length of string will depend on the size of rainbow you want), tie a loop in the end of the string for the chalk. Draw a half circle for the rainbow. Shorten the string and draw another half circle, continue until you have a whole rainbow. |
